Washington D.C.'s Brutal Realities:

Superior Court Judges:

  1. Judges frequently fail to read and understand filings and motions. 
  2. Jurists are commonly prone to rash, impulsive, and emotional behavior. 
  3. Judges regularly punt cases to each other in intervals for years on end.
  4. Superior Court judges have almost no capacity to listen to defendants.
  5. Legitimate concerns regarding major discovery violations are always ignored. 
  6. Prosecutors who have acted dishonorably commonly become judges.
  7. Many judges do little if anything to address prosecutorial misconduct. 
  8. Judges have no understanding of the damage causes by misguided decisions.
  9. Judges who are found liable for negligence are commonly indifferent. 
  10. Cases pile up for years as judges fail to property advance criminal and civil matters.

DC-USAO Prosecutors:

  1. Brady violations and Giglio fraud runs rampant throughout Washington D.C.
  2. Protective orders are often deployed to cover up police corruption and USAO fraud.
  3. Prosecutors often care little about justice and everything about "winning."
  4. There is very little if any recourse for profound prosecutorial misconduct. 
  5. Prosecutors often deliver white lies if not full-blown lies to jurists. 
  6. Withholding material evidence of commonplace and rampant in Superior Court. 
  7. Integrity and ethical behavior amongst General Crimes supervisors is non-existent.
  8. USAO supervisors are often in hiding while junior prosecutors are in the courtroom.
  9. Lawyers place winning about all else in an effort to advance up the pole in the USAO.

Defense Lawyers

  1. Attorney arrogance often prevents defendants from obtaining their full legal rights.
  2. Many lawyers are unwilling to do the work necessary to gather all key evidence. 
  3. An alarming number of lawyers "wing it" during hearings and trials.
  4. Defense lawyers are economically motived to ignore serious judicial misconduct.
  5. Lawyers on billable retainers have incentives to drag out cases for years on end.
  6. Some lawyers often advice please deals because "that's what rich people do."

D.C. Office of the Attorney General

  1. More than $150 million is devoted each year to the DCOAG.
  2. An army of lawyers work to protect dirty police work rather than the greater good. 
  3. DCOAG frequently file fraudulent motions containing untruthful and corrupt claims.
  4. DCOAG lawyers frequently fail to alert the courts of extreme police misconduct.
  5. The DCAG has no interest and no incentive to address corruption inside the DCOAG. 
  6. The hypocrisy of the DCAG's rhetoric versus his daily conduct is staggering.
  7. The failure to turn over "material" and highly exculpatory evidence is rampant. 

MPD Police Corruption

  1. Lazy police activities usually evolve into full scale fraud and corruption cases. 
  2. Mid-level MPD officers work incredibly hard to cover up MPD officer fraud. 
  3. MPD internal affairs officers opening state a refusal to address internal corruption.
  4. Multiple chiefs of police are flagrant violations of ethical practices in policing.
  5. There is zero accountability among the City Council regarding police corruption. 
  6. Officers convicted of felony obstruction of justice and murder are reinstated.
  7. Hearings to address exhausted police fraud are always held in secret.
  8. MPD internal investigations are useless and investigative integrity is nonexistent.
  9. Crime statistics are useless and even the MPD's own employees complain of fraud. 
  10. Billions of dollars of settlements to public victims do nothing to slow police malice.

City Council

  1. Members care vastly more about a new stadium than stopping police corruption.  
  2. None of the existing city council members have the resolve to address gross fraud.
  3. At least one city council member is actively under investigation for felony fraud. 
  4. Judiciary Chair Brooke Pinto has quickly become subservient to the police union. 
  5. None of the council members have every been impacted by police corruption.
  6. Affluent members of the public are indifferent to the negligence of the Council.
  7. Homeowners who become tired of the city's fraud and corruption move to Virginia.

Phil Mendelson

  1. Phil knows that MPD corruption is rampant yet gives the MPD a 13% salary reward. 
  2. Like other small-town leaders, the stadium is a bigger focus than civil rights fraud.
  3. Phil enacts billions of dollars of spending late and night, and then critiques Congress. 
  4. Nothing is done to stop legal corruption, and then judicial vacancies are to blame.
  5. Phil supports DCAG in more prosecution authority while DCAG negligence abounds.

Brooke Pinto

  1. Early attempts to protect the public from police corruption faded fast.
  2. Pinto has quickly become a tool and an instrument of the police union.
  3. Ward 2 now takes the same do-nothing approach made famous by Bowser.
  4. Pinto will spend $1 billion on a football stadium and $0 to stop police fraud.
  5. Brooke has become nothing more than an Instagram politician for the camera.

Muriel Bowser

  1. Muriel Bowser has turned a blind eye to police corruption for decades. 
  2. There is no one on the staff of Muriel Bowser who works to stop police corruption.
  3. MPD internal affairs officers opening state a refusal to address internal crime.
  4. Three consecutive police chiefs have impeccable records regarding hiding fraud.
  5. There is zero accountability among the City Council regarding police corruption.
  6. Muriel Bowser stalls all funding to address widespread police misconduct.
  7. Bowser refers to the essentially useless Eleanor Holmes-Norton as a "mighty warrior."
  8. Muriel is "very proud" of the MPD with no mention of those who serve dishonorably.
  9. After a landmark year of MPD corruption, Bowser gives a 13% MPD pay raise.
  10. Bowser claims that "trust between communities and police is essential."

Defendants

  1. Innocent citizens frequently take fraudulent plea deals to get back to work.
  2. Plea deals offer a chance to race back to family crushed by corrupt prosecutions.
  3. Most citizens targeted by the MPD and the USAO do not have economic means. 
  4. Defendants are often silenced by judges when vital information is being produced. 
  5. Many defendants are not in a position to address systemic fraud and corruption.
  6. Almost all non-white collar criminal prosecutions in Washington target black men. 

House of Representatives

  1. Weak Members in the House do nothing regarding a mountain of evidence of fraud.
  2. Members of Congress spend no time reviewing the quality of judicial candidates.
  3. Democrats are unwilling to show leadership over a Democratic city. 
  4. Republicans are unwilling to address systemic fraud within the police department.
  5. Members complain about vacancies while courtrooms sit empty every afternoon. 
  6. There is no discussion about improving the handling of cases throughout the Court.
